Apple today released the second beta of an upcoming watchOS 4.3.2 update for developers. This takes place two weeks after the first watchOS 4.3.2 beta and two weeks after the release of watchOS 4.3.1, a small bugfix update that fixes a boot problem.
Apple releases the second beta of watchOS 4.3.2 for developers
With watchOS 4.3.2 Beta 2, Apple today released another version of its operating system for Apple Watch. As always, these betas are only available for paying developers and not for participants of the free Apple Seed beta program.
Once the correct configuration profile has been installed from the Apple Developer Center, the new watchOS beta can be downloaded via the special Apple Watch app on the iPhone under General –> Software Update.
To install the update, the Apple Watch must have at least 50 percent battery power, it must be placed on the charger, and it must be within a range of the iPhone.
No new features were discovered in the first watchOS 4.3.2 update, but as a 4.3.x update, it is likely that these are only bug fixes, security updates and performance improvements. The 4.3.2 of watchOS should fix the bugs discovered since the release of watchOS 4.3.1 and make other small improvements to the operating system.
watchOS 4.3.2 is probably one of the latest updates for the watchOS 4 operating system and Apple has started work on watchOS 5, which was made available to developers at the Worldwide Developers Conference 2018. Unless major bugs or vulnerabilities are discovered that speak in favour of a watchOS 4.3.3. Whether Apple will give up the 4x version is by no means certain, however, because watchOS 5 no longer runs on the original Apple Watch.
