The Taiwanese company Apacer has introduced a new SSD series called Z280 on the market. That arrives in M.2 2280 format with a PCIe 3.0 × 4 interfaces, using an NMVe 1.2 protocol. It is already available in capacities of 120 GB, 240 GB, and 480 GB. And uses MLC-type NAND memory to provide it with improved durability.
Apacer presents the Z280 SSD in M.2 2280 format, PCIe type 3.0 × 4 and low consumption
The maximum speed of these SSD is 2750 MB / s of sequential reading and 1500 MB/s of sequential writing and reaches 175 000 IOPS of the random writing of files of size 4 KB. The consumption of these SSD is lower than usual. That is staying at 120 mA at rest and between 1.45 mA and 2.09 mA depending on the model. So it is quite interesting for laptops and tablets with Windows 10.

The controller used improves the durability, reaching 698 TB in the 480 GB model. And provides an improvement in the correction of errors, in addition to providing the usual SMART command, including TRIM. The price of the 120 GB model is 123 dollars and the 240 GB price is 220 dollars.
