Antec enters the memory market with its Antec 5 series, which was introduced in Computex and joins the fashionable memory market with RGB lighting system.
Antec 5 is the company’s first DDR4 memory kits
Antec will make its debut with the 5 Series RGB Memory Kit available in white or black with RGB LED lighting on the top, similar to other manufacturers. The kit in question is called the TUF Gaming Alliance Memory Kit and may come in individual 8GB DDR4 RAM formats.
Antec was in Computex presenting not only these memories but also other products such as chassis and high power supplies, which is one of the facets in which this manufacturer is best known.
Antec 5 memories will come in speeds up to 3,000MHz. More series, such as a low-end Series 3 and a high-end Series 7, are likely to come in the near future, with higher or lower speeds and varying prices. It is also not ruled out that a hypothetical 3-series comes without RGB lighting to reduce costs.
