The iPad range continues to expand. When the Pro was launched in March, Apple was still working on new models within this family, as there are now rumors that a new iPad Air is scheduled for release in September. This new model would be characterized by the fact that the touch ID is integrated into the screen itself.
A new iPad Air is coming in September
This model would also have a new design with very thin frames. There is speculation about this, although at the moment we must assume that these are rumors, as it is not known whether Apple has these plans.
In addition, it is commented that the company will work together with this iPad Air on a low-cost model, which could also be launched by the end of this year. In the case of the Air, the screen is said to be 11 inches in size and the touch ID mentioned above will be integrated into it. Some even comment that the design, in this case, would resemble the 11-inch iPad Pro.
The cheaper model that Apple is currently developing and which is planned for this year would have a number of improvements. One of the most important would be power, as it will be more powerful than its predecessor, so it will improve its performance.
At the moment these are all just rumors, but it will be interesting to see if there is an iPad Air in September, because it is not really known if Apple has plans to continue this particular product line. But I’m sure that many users will want a new model within this family.
