AMD’s player for PlayStation 5: 16 Core Zen at 3.2GHz + Navi

The AMD 2G16002CE8JA2_32/10/10/10/10_13E9 chip, internally called Gonzalo, will be the base of the PlayStation 5 after the latest filtration. This code also contains product specifications, so it’s almost a fact what the PlayStation 5 will look like.

AMD and Sony chose a Zen+ based 8-core 16-Core processor. It has a base frequency of 1.0 GHz and can be overclocked to 3.2 GHz. It is accompanied by a Navi Architecture, code 13E9, at a low frequency of only 1.0 GHz, possibly for low power consumption.

It is important to note that this is a test chip that may even be present in the development teams, but it is possible that it is not the final hardware. We have already heard rumors that the development teams would be based on earlier hardware, but of similar strength, and that might be the case.
