AMD Ryzen 5 5600 6-core getting ready for 2021

According to a contribution from @harukaze5719, AMD plans to launch its Ryzen 5 5600 processor for $220 in early 2021, an $80 price cut for its Ryzen 5 5600X model. At launch, AMD will not be launching the Ryzen 7 5700X and Ryzen 5 5600X models, which were expected to be more value-oriented versions of the 8-core Ryzen 7 5800X and Ryzen 5 5600X models respectively. On November 5, the first round of AMD’s Ryzen 5000 processors will be launched to serve the high-end PC and gaming market.

At that time, AMD plans to provide support for the Ryzen 5000 series (Zen 3) for its 400 series motherboards in January 2021, coinciding with the rumor of the Ryzen 5 5600 launches.
