The first AMD driver of the month of December is here with the Adrenalin 19.12.1 version, which brings support for the RX 5300M graphics card for laptops.
Radeon Adrenalin 19.12.1 comes with support for the RX 5300M and other corrections.
The RX 5300M is an AMD graphics processor designed for notebooks with 3GB of GDDR6 video memory and 22 processing units.
Although the main goal of this driver is compatibility with the RX 5300M, it also includes some solutions for AMD’s RX 5700 series, which eliminates a stuttering problem in some games at 1080p with a low configuration and a problem that could lead to wrinkling in The Outer Worlds Obsidian.
These are the most important new features:
- Support for Radeon RX 5300M
AMD Radeon Adrenalin 19.12.1 (Problems fixed):
- The graphics cards of the Radeon RX 5700 series could experience stuttering in some games at 1080p and low game settings.
- Some graphics products of the Radeon RX 5700 series could suffer a temporary crash on the desktop during playback of The Outer Worlds.
Known issues:
- The graphics cards of the Radeon RX 5700 series can lead to a temporary loss of the display or video signal during the game.
- In some applications, the overlay of key performance indicators can lead to stuttering or screen flicker.
- Enabling HDR with Radeon ReLive enabled can cause system instability during play.
- AMD Radeon VII may have elevated memory clocks in sleep mode or on the desktop.
- Performance metrics may indicate improper use of the VRAM.
- Enabling Radeon Overlay may cause games to lose focus or be minimized when HDR is enabled in Windows.
