AMD announced the worldwide availability of its new line of AMD Ryzen PRO 3000 Series desktop processors and new AMD Ryzen PRO processors with Radeon Vega graphics and AMD Athlon PRO processors with Radeon Vega graphics. The AMD Ryzen PRO and Athlon PRO desktop processors combine powerful performance, built-in security, and commercial reliability to get the job done. Robust HP and Lenovo desktops based on the AMD Ryzen PRO and Athlon PRO processors are expected to be available to enterprises in the fourth quarter of 2019.
“The introduction of the Ryzen PRO 3000 processors for enterprises and small businesses is the latest demonstration of our commitment to technology leadership in 2019,” said Saied Moshkelani, senior vice president and general manager of AMD Client Compute. “AMD Ryzen PRO and Athlon PRO processors are specifically designed for efficiency in data design, production, data creation, and data restriction, accelerating enterprise productivity while providing safeguards with integrated security features, a memory encryption system and a security processor built into the dedicated chip.
