AMD already knows the cause of Adrenalin’s problems with DX9, the solution is very close

Over the last week has been much talk about the previous driver Radeon Software Adrenalin of AMD. And it all started after the discovery that the driver introduced a bug that prevents the operation of several favorite games that run under DirectX 9 (DX9), including The Witcher, Battle for the Middle Earth 1 + 2, Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars and Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3. Finally, AMD is very close to solving the problem.

The Director of AMD Software Strategy, Terry Makedon, has spoken on Twitter. That states that the cause of the bug of these drivers has been found with DX9. And that the team of pilots of the company is currently working on an adequate solution. That would mean that very soon we will have an update of these Radeon Adrenalin drivers that will solve this small problem.

At first, AMD informed that they were not going to allocate resources to solve a problem with games of 10 years ago or more. Finally, it seems that they had recounted before the criticisms received and if they will solve it after all.

AMD is characterized by offering an outstanding support to the users of its products, so it was strange that they were going to ignore the problem, we are glad that finally, they will solve it because our readers are the most benefited.
