Lian Li unveils a new case, the Alpha 550. Aiming for the days, he adopts a tempered glass dress and embeds several Bora RGB fans. However, its frame is not made of aluminum. It is, however, there is a mark of manufacture of this manufacturer.

Medium tower type, this gaming box proposes a modern architecture organized around two spaces. The main room houses the motherboard (ATX format) and its daughter boards. It reserves a maximum of 400 mm for the graphics card and 170 mm at the height of the fan. The power supply unit has 250 mm on the bottom. The dimensions of the box are 230 x 520 x 490 mm, and the frame (SECC) is highlighted with four tempered glass windows.
Alpha 550, focus on RGB
Internally two 3.5″ hard disks and five 2.5 drives can take place. On the cooling side, there are four 120 mm fans, three of which are at the front. These Bora RGB have RGB lighting and come with a controller. The manufacturer specifies that their aluminum frame can be painted to increase the possibilities of customization of its tower. In addition to these RGB fans, RGB LED strips are integrated.
The ventilation can be reinforced with three 120 or 140 mm at the top. The housing also supports a Watercooling radiator (360 x 120 mm and 420 x 140 mm). The graphics card can be positioned vertically while its connectivity consists of two USB 3.0 ports, a USB 3.1 Type-C port, and standard audio Jacks.
Lian Li says the Alpha Series has a tool-less design with dust filters. The advertisement does not indicate any price however the first shops are positioned at 200 €. The Alpha 550 is announced in two versions, black or white.
