New gaming monitors come to the gaming world, Dell Alienware AW-2518-H and Alienware AW-2518-HF. Dell has just announced its new gaming monitors within its Alienware 25 series. One with surname -H, the other with last name -HF. These new series consist of two models; the model AW-2518-H comes with Nvidia G-Sync, and the AW-2518-HF comes with AMD FreeSnyc.
Both types do not differ in the rest of the features except this, but there is a significant difference in price. That is the cost of the model with FreeSync is 399 €, and the cost of design with G-Sync is 599 €.
Alienware AW-2518 Specifications
As both of these models offer similar features: there is a TN-LCD panel with 400 nits of brightness, 1000: 1 contrast, Full-HD resolution (1920 x 1080), 160º / 170º at viewing angles and both offers 1ms of GtG response rate. Regarding the dimensions, they have 555,8 x 268,6 x 523,3 mm and has an approximate weight of 7 Kg.

The surface of the display has an anti-reflective coating. The new monitor from Alienware are primarily suggestions for people who want to have high frame rates and fast response time of the screen.
Alienware AW-2518 Stylish Look
The manufacturer took care also for a stylish design with thin frames around the screen and finish in silver and black chrome. Besides, AlienFX backlight system will allow us to personalize the illumination of the full range of RGB color. Also, no need to worry about ergonomics, because we can adjust the height, angle of tilt or rotate the monitor, and if necessary we can turn the screen 90 ° (Pivot function).
Alienware AW-2518 Available Connectors
As for the available connectors, we get DP 1.2, HDMI 1.4, 4 x USB3.0 and audio output. The price of these monitors starts from approx. 400$ for the model with FreeSync and some 200$ or more for a variant of the G-SYNC on board.
These monitors also have audio output and headphones support. At the moment the company has not unveiled about its availability in Europe.
