ADATA is a well-known manufacturer of Flash drives and other memory elements. ADATA HD830 is an external hard drive designed to withstand the worst unexpected events of a mobile life.
This HD830 is available in 140 x 96.2 x 33 mm dimensions and weighs between 510 and 600 grams depending on capacity. This external storage solution uses a 2, 4 or 5 TB hard drive, depending on the version.
It connects to a PC via a USB connection. And it supports USB 3.1 while ensuring downward compatibility with USB 2.1. It doesn’t address the problem of performance.
The three-layer construction provides complete internal and external protection, including a rugged red or blue silicone outer shell, shock absorption, and a padded mount that holds the drive securely in place. The Adata HD830 features impact sensors that stop hard drive activity when an impact is detected, for example when it accidentally falls down. The user sees that the sensors are activated when the LED flashes red.
The HD830’s rugged aluminum enclosure features a sandblasted surface structure and two sturdy side columns that give the HD830 the look of a true warrior.
Back to its robust design, it meets the requirements of the military standard MIL-STD-810G516.6. This advantage allows it to excel IPX8 certification requirements.
It withstands a drop of 1.22 mm and lasts 120 minutes at a depth of two meters under water. Also, ADATA speaks of a high level of compressive strength with the announcement of the 3-ton figure.
