Weighing only 1.4 kg and 15.9 cm thick, the dark blue lacquered unit has a luxurious magnesium-aluminum alloy body that gives it an elegant and professional look.

New convertible notebook

The new Spin 7 is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 5G processing chip, which provides extreme range and high-end entertainment experience. Together with the device’s Full HD IPS display, built-in ECNS (Qualcomm Aqstic Echo Cancellation and Noise Suppression) technology supports high-fidelity sound for an impressive sound experience. This Windows 10 Pro device also has incredible battery life and reduces power consumption in standby mode, which means users can use it for several days without plugging it in. Its fingerprint sensor provides more secure access thanks to Windows Hello, so users don’t have to worry about anything. They can also connect securely to their 4G/LTE and 5G mobile phones without having to worry about unsecured public WiFi networks.

The new Spin 7 laptop uses the leading computer platform Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 5G with the Snapdragon X55 5G modem RF system, which supports 5G connectivity in both mmWave and sub-6 GHz with download speeds of up to 7.5 Gbps. Whenever possible, users can even enjoy fast and secure 5G connections. The speed, low latency, and independence offered by 5G connectivity mean that Spin 7 can keep pace with the demands of today’s professional environment. As teleworking becomes increasingly important and teams tend to scatter, the high-speed 5G connection enables users to stay connected for efficient productivity wherever they are.

Rugged construction

The Acer Spin 7 is a 14-inch convertible notebook designed for style-conscious professionals. The case is polished dark blue and accented with gold details. Thanks to its magnesium-aluminum alloy case, it weighs only 1.4 kg and measures 15.9 mm. This makes it so portable that it practically disappears in a rucksack or suitcase. This level of detail also extends to the 14-inch full HD IPS screen, which covers 100% of the sRGB range and gives you crisp, clear colors.

The touchscreen is coated with an antimicrobial coating of Corning Gorilla Glass. Thanks to a silver ion antimicrobial agent that meets BPR and EPA standards on the keyboard coating, touch panel, and around the surface, it provides a consistent rate of microbial reduction against a wide range of bacteria according to JIS Z 2801 and ISO 22196 test protocols.

So far, no data on the market launch of this Acer Spin 7 has been provided. Although the brand has confirmed that all data will be available soon.
