HP was the first company to offer equipment equipped with a virtual Alex assistant. But more companies are quickly joining, such as Acer, who has just decided to introduce Alexa to his laptops. A whole series of equipment will be available on the market, in which the assistant will be immediately available.
Acer has just announced that some new laptops will be shipped to customers with Alexa, Amazon’s virtual assistant. Spin 3 and Spin 5 laptops should already be available in the stores, and in June this year, a convertible Nitro 5 Spin computer will be available, which will also be equipped with Alexa.
What’s more, the other Acera series, the Aspire, Switch and Swift, including the Aspire desktop, will have Alexa pre-installed. Shipping is planned within the next few weeks. What’s more, if you have an Acera model that you’ve bought before but is compatible with the new software, you’ve already promised to upgrade it with Alexy’s support. They are to start – in the case of Spin 5 – on 23 May this year.
Alexa is a virtual assistant who will help you manage e.g. smart home devices, play music or check the weather. This software is similar to a Google Virtual Assistant, for example. According to official announcements, this one is to appear soon in our country, i.e. probably also in Polish. So it’s worth taking a look at the prices of Google Home speakers because now it’s worth buying them.
