The Acer Predator CG7 is a large 43-inch gaming monitor that was announced in mid-year. This monitor is said to be commercially available and, as expected, not cheap at all.
There are 24-inch and 27-inch 4K screens, but the advantage of the high resolutions is the ability to scale to larger screen sizes without noticeable pixels. This is where monitors like the Acer Predator CG7 (CG437K Pbmiiippuzx) come in, supporting 120 Hz frame rates (144 Hz overclocking), 4K resolution and Adaptive-Sync compatibility. It really has everything to be a gaming monitor with a typical size of LED TVs.
Predator CG7 supports Acer’s RGB Light Sense technology, which can be used for this display to deliver lighting actions that respond to the actions of games, music or a cycle through nine preset patterns. This display also supports USB Type C connectivity, which is useful for smartphone connectivity. It is also sold with remote control, which is a pretty good decision as it is a monitor that is ready to play outside the screen. Support for HDR technology, certified with the VESA DisplayHDR 1000, is also welcomed.
The monitor is available in the USA and is worth $1,499.
