In a recent update of the list of supported processors of the Ryzen 3000 series, Biostar introduces an unknown reference, the Ryzen 9 3900.
AMD introduced its Ryzen 3000 series processors last July. The flagship of the processor was the Ryzen 9 3900X. This chip is positioned at $499 and is equipped with 12 physical cores and 24 logical threads. It operates at 3.8 GHz nominal and has a 105 Watt PDT.

Biostar has released an update to the list of Ryzen 3000 series processors supported by its motherboards. It mentions an unpublished reference, the Ryzen 9 3900, which does not have the letter “X”, has a frequency of 3.1 GHz and a thermal sheath of just 65 watts.
It seems that this Ryzen 9 3900 is a more energy-efficient version of the Ryzen 9 3900X. It operates at lower frequencies and offers a significantly reduced thermal shell.
