Vampyr shows excellent optimization in the first tests

Vampyr shows great performance with Nvidia hardware, in the case of AMD the optimization is not so good

Regarding the graphics card, with a mid-range model, it will be more than possible to maintain the 60 FPS in ultra 1080p graphics quality. A 4GB GeForce GTX 970 is enough to keep the game from falling below 68 FPS, it’s a card with three years behind it, so we can deduce that it’s not particularly demanding. The 6GB GeForce GTX 1060 maintains an impressive 77 FPS minimum. In the case of AMD, the Radeon RX 480 drops to 60 FPS, showing that the game is much more optimized for Nvidia.

Vamyr asks for a GeForce GTX 1050 as a minimum requirement, a card with which it is possible to stay above 44 FPS in ultra graphics quality and 1080p resolution. If we go up to the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, the game doesn’t go below 50 FPS, so that if we go down some parameters we can keep the 60 FPS.

There is a lack of evidence at higher resolutions, but given the excellent performance of the game at 1080p, it is to be expected that there are not too many problems to move it to 4K. Have you played Vampyr? You can leave a comment with your impressions about this new game.
