The Japanese manufacturer Scythe today unveiled its new Kotetsu Mark II heatsink. That is a new tower heatsink with a four heatpipe design and a 120mm Scythe Kaze Flex PWM fan. This new heatsink is special to improve the original model in mind. So, its center has shifted slightly to offer greater compatibility with RAM and graphics cards.

The most remarkable aspect of this new version is that its aesthetics have improved significantly. Alos, the design is much cleaner and next to the copper heatpipes, which are bathed in nickel, are more visually convincing than in the original Kotetsu.

In the lower part, we have the block, crossed by the four heatpipes that are distributed at its exit between both sides of the cooling tower. In this way, it is sought to distribute the thermal load better by all the fins of the dissipator.
The new Scythe Kotetsu MKII comes with support for Intel LGA775, LGA1150, LGA1151, LGA1155, LGA1156, LGA1366, LGA2011 (V3) and LGA2066 sockets, while AMD support extends to sockets AM2 (+), AM3 (+), FM1, FM2 (+) and AM4. All for a recommended price of € 29.50.
