A study shows that the Ryzen 5 5600X is the most searched processor among PC users.
Ryzen 5 5600X is the most searched CPU with more than 10 million searches
The study wanted to find out which processor is the most popular or most searched for among Internet users. For this purpose, a comprehensive comparison was made with 151 processors that were launched from 2019 until today.
Of the 151 processors compared, 33 were from AMD, while the remaining 118 were from Intel. Using current processors was a good decision, as there are older CPUs that are no longer in production and could skew the comparison based on Google search metrics.
The results show that AMD took the top 15 search positions, with about six of them comprising more than 5 million searches. Second place goes to the Ryzen 5 3600 with 8.9 million searches, and third place goes to the Ryzen 7 5800X with 7.5 million searches.
Intel only appears in 16th place with the i9-12900K, followed by the i5-12400F, another mid-range CPU, but from the Core 12 generation.
Even though these search results should not translate into sales, they are an indication of PC users’ interest in AMD processors, which seem to be in constant demand by PC users.
Within the new Ryzen 7000 series, the Ryzen 9 7950X is the most searched processor with almost 1.5 million searches. As for the Intel Raptor Lake series, the most searched CPU is the Intel i9 13900K.
