An Italian retailer claims that the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti will arrive on January 5, with a launch on January 3, just in time for CES 2023, where Nvidia will make a number of major announcements.
Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti: Retailer confirms January 5 launch
The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card will be the next release in the RTX 40 series, after launching the RTX 4080 earlier this year.
For the launch of the RTX 4070 Ti we’re not going to have to wait that long, just 1 month for the release of this model, which is expected to have a somewhat lower performance than the RTX 4080 and a more discounted price.
Italian retailer Drako.it is the one listing the ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 4070 Ti model, with a January 5 date. It even has a big countdown for the occasion, ahead of the official unveiling by Nvidia, which isn’t going to happen for another 1 month.
This model is going to have 12GB of VRAM, which is the same amount of memory that the RTX 4080 model that was canceled prior to launch was going to have. Nvidia would have reused that model for the launch of this model, with a name change to 4070 Ti.
The leaked dates for this launch are as follows:
- Product unveiling – January 3, 2023
- Product Review – January 4, 2023
- Product launch – January 5, 2023
This graphics card is expected to occupy an AD104-400 GPU and features around 7680 CUDA cores. This would be the full configuration of this GPU. The 12GB of memory is of the GDDR6X type which runs on a 192-bit memory bus. The total bandwidth is 504 GB/s.
We are looking forward to this release and all the news we are going to see at CES 2023.
