We continue to share with all our readers the arrival of new top quality NAS equipment, this time the QNAP TS-1677X Ryzen, a model that mounts an AMD Ryzen processor as its name suggests.
The Ryzen QNAP TS-1677X is an advanced 12-bay NAS for 3.5-inch hard drives, and four bays for hot-swappable 2.5-inch drives. Inside is an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 1700 processor with a Turbo Core frequency of up to 3.7 GHz, which offers the best performance along with its QTier technology, which automatically manages data by levels. The processor can be paired with up to 64 GB of DDR4 memory for maximum smoothness.
We continue to see the features of the Ryzen QNAP TS-1677X with the inclusion of two 10GBASE-T RJ45 ports and three PCIe slots for incredible expansion potential with a graphics card, 10GbE/40GbE NIC, USB 3.1 expansion cards and QM2 cards. QNAP’s newly developed QuAI AI development package can power the TS-1677X NAS to function as an AI/ML/DL solution, ideal for scientists and data developers to leverage the NAS-based AI platform to quickly build, train, optimize, and implement automatic learning models.
Its multi-threaded processor is capable of running multiple virtual machines simultaneously in VMware, Citrix, Microsoft Hyper-V and Windows Server 2016 environments with iSER support. As a result, you can host virtual machines and containers as an efficient all-in-one server.
