According to the company in a statement:

Game Stack brings together all of our game development platforms, tools, and services such as Azure, PlayFab, DirectX, Visual Studio, Xbox Live, App Center and Havok into a solid ecosystem that any game developer can use. Game Stack’s goal is to help you discover the tools and services you need to create and run your game.

Part of the new Microsoft Game Stack is Xbox Live, which can now be integrated into games for the Android and iOS platforms. With this in mind, Microsoft has just launched an SDK (Software Development Kit) to allow developers to select the parts of Xbox Live they want to implement in their mobile games and allow users to access all these features through a secure login through Microsoft.

The features they can implement include scores, achievements, hero statistics, and more. For now, the SDK has been used to implement the achievements in a number of games for Android and iOS, although, for titles that correspond to Microsoft Studios.

In any case, it’s good news that Xbox Live is expanding to mobile platforms and no longer just Xbox and Windows.
