Huawei has launched a new 10.1-inch tablet PC with the unique feature of four Harman/Kardon speakers that work with the Huawei Histen 5.0 sound system to mimic 3D surround sound.

The tablet comes with a Kirin 659 SoC processor, which is equipped with memory variants of 3 GB + 32 GB and 4 GB + 64 GB. For its part, the battery is a generous 7,500 mAh, which at least according to Huawei ensures long multimedia and gaming sessions, and the system works with Android 8.0 Oreo, which is personalized via the EMUI 8.0 interface.

As expected, Huawei adds an M-Pen lite stylus that supports up to 2048 pressure levels, with the inclusion of the stylus depending on the region. As with WiFi and 4G, LTE is available at a price of 299 Euros.

As a Lite model, it is more modest in features than the “normal” MediaPad M5 (which comes with a Kirin 960 SoC), although the screen size remains the same at the lower resolution.

The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite is an elegantly designed tablet with a one-piece metal structure and a curved 2.5D glass edge that perfectly combines aesthetics and ergonomics.
