Accelerators can turn many dreams into reality, they can help transform an idea into a real project, with a solid business model, generating jobs and solutions that would otherwise be just on paper.
Now Google presents its own mobile games platform: Developers in Asia are being offered the opportunity to refine their mobile game with Google Play’s first Indie Games Accelerator program.
It is limited to all those companies based in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand or Vietnam, and will help them to grow. It is possible to subscribe before July 31st on this link.
They say in the announcement that they are always looking for new ways to support developers, and as a special edition of Launchpad Accelerator, they announce a new four-month independent game accelerator to train promising developers in those countries in Asia to successfully build, scale, launch and market the next generation of mobile games.
Those who are accepted will be able to meet with Google professionals to share knowledge and technologies, all in two boot camps of games in which they can participate in the Google office in Singapore, where they will receive personalized mentors from Google Teams and industry experts. Additional benefits include Google Cloud Platform credits and invitations to exclusive Google events and the gaming industry in general. Winners will be announced on August 8.
