ASUS has recently launched several notebooks, including Zephyrus M, Zephyrus S and Strix Scar, and more: With the new TUF FX505 and FX705 notebooks, the brand also wants to advance into the medium and entry-level class and get to know them!
ASUS TUF FX505 and FX705, your latest gaming laptops
Introduced at Gamescom 2018, these notebooks feature a basic option with a 4-core Intel Coffee Lake-H processor (i5-8300H) and a GTX 1050 graphics card with 4GB VRAM.
The FX505 is equivalent to a 15.6-inch screen, while the FX705 has 17.3-inch and in both cases includes mid-range and low-range IPS panels, where there will be one configuration with 60Hz refresh rate and another with 144Hz for the most demanding players.
In addition to this basic configuration, there will be models that come with a GTX 1050 Ti 4GB or GTX 1060 6GB graphics card and an Intel Coffee Lake-H 6-core, 12-wire processor.
The memory reaches 32 GB with the highest option. In terms of storage capacity, there will be two configurations: one will include a 128GB, 256GB or 512GB M.2 PCIe SSD and a 2.5-inch 1TB capacity hard drive, and the other will use a hybrid hard drive (SSHD).
