Asus completes its AMD graphics card range with the announcement of the Phoenix Radeon 550 2GB GDDR5. This solution is based on an aging architecture and comes with a small amount of RAM.
This Phoenix Radeon 550 2GB GDDR5 is equipped with a Polaris 12-GPU. This architecture is now four years old. Since its launch, AMD has introduced two generations of GPUs to the market, Vega and then Navi.
The card is not really new, as it is an update of the Radeon RX 550, which was introduced three years ago. This new version still offers some changes with GDDR5 memory at 7 Gbps instead of 5 Gbps, which operates on a 128-bit bus and not 64-bit.
