According to the Cowcotland site, AMD will no longer manufacture the Radeon RX 5700 graphics series. On the one hand, the RX 5700 will only be produced on special order, while the RX 5700 XT will not be discontinued until the first quarter of 2021.
The website states that both reference and special orders will no longer be produced. This means that the cards already on the market may be the last available batch of RX 5700. In fact, in response to the lower offer, some retailers have increased the price of Navi 10, a trend that has been visible since July.
But the interesting thing is that AMD is still producing its Radeon RX 5600 XT GPU (also Navi 10), so these cards will be on the market for a while. After all, the RX 5600XT debuted on January 21st, so it is not even one year old.
This information becomes even more interesting when you consider that AMD has not yet discontinued the Polaris-based Radeon RX 500 and Radeon RX 5500 (Navi 14) series, which debuted in 2017.
AMD is ready to introduce its Radeon RX 6000 series based on RDNA 2 architecture on October 28th of this year. The next generation of Radeon cards should be available in November.
