We have a new special projector, Sony LSPX-A1. The CES of Las Vegas is the best showcase for companies to show their new products. But also to demonstrate what they are capable of in this modern world of technology. We.'ve seen it this year, with an LG roll-up TV and a giant 146-inch Samsung panel.
And now Sony has decided to show that potential with a new projector. It's called Sony LSPX-A1, and it's a 4K UHD projector with an ultra short throw. It will reach the market with an "economic" price of 25,000 euros. Also, it is a projector that is capable of offering a 120-inch screen with a distance of fewer than 25 centimeters.
Although we have seen some projectors at CES intended to enjoy home theater, such as the Acer V6820M. But none are like this one from Sony. The Japanese manufacturer gets in the market with some of the best 4K projectors that exist. However, the new Sony LSPX-A1 is different from the rest. It is an ultra short throw projector. That is capable of achieving a 120-inch screen with only 25 centimeters of distance.
The Sony LSPX-A1 uses laser technology and reaches a maximum brightness of 2500 lumens. It also offers a 4K UHD resolution. And that projector also provides Sony's 4K SXRD and HDR technique. But, as you can see in the initial image, this projector goes far beyond the model.
Sony LSPX-A1: This is the Sony projector that will cost you more than a car
The Sony LSPX-A1 comes with a Glass Sound Speaker that generates sound in 360 degrees. That consists of two tweeters installed on the front legs, three mid-range speakers and a subwoofer separate from the set. Also, it has a central speaker designed for sound to bounce on the wall. According to Sony, this system improves speaker performance.
Its design is in the shape of a "coffee table." That allows to include the whole set in a single piece of furniture. In addition to the projector and sound system, we have a wooden shelf. That can be used to place the player or the console. The legs are made of aluminum, and the upper surface is marble.
And we may say that this Sony LSPX-A1 is more like an exhibition project than just being a projector. And the ground reality is that it will go on sale in the United States in the spring of this year. Its price, as we anticipated, will be 30,000 dollars, about 25,000 euros.
