The famous laptop manufacturer Lenovo which is a UK based company recently have arrangements for the Develop3D Live conference. In which Lenovo officially presents a new ThinkStation P320 workstation. The new product is the best for positioning the cost-effective, focused on engineering design VR-Ready workstation. ThinkStation P320 also receives ProVR certification. That shows it is perfectly compatible with Virtalis VR4CAD.

ThinkStation P320 CAD Models Import

Lenovo in the UK organized the 3D conference officially and have released a new ThinkStation P320 workstation. The advance Pro VR certification is from NVIDIA for content design which helps in professional application certification. And also with the inclusion of Virtalis VR4CAD, CAD (Computer Aided Design) models can also get import in to VR software.

And the new ThinkStation P320 workstation also offers two sizes of chassis. Because this includes a large tower chassis and a small SFF chassis. Talking about the configurations, the consumer can choose Intel Core i3 / i5 / i7 processor.

So there is a large set of choice in processors, user can even choose the latest Xeon E3-1200 v6 processor. Tower models are equipped with NVIDIA Quadro P4000 graphics card. And SFF models here uses NVIDIA Quadro P1000 graphics card.

Also talking about the Storage media, P320 can support up to 64GB of DDR4-2400 ECC UDIMM memory. And up to 4TB HDD or 2TB SSD. Tower models also support up to two M.2 drivers, four 3.5-inch drives and four 2.5-inch drives.The SFF model also supports two M.2 drivers, but only supports two 3.5-inch drives and three 2.5-inch drives.

On the interface side, the P320 provides six USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports. The card reader is optional. But the casing also provides the eSATA and Firewire interface options available for more external storage connections. Also the for networking it has the Intel Dual Band Wireless AC 8265 module.

And  a Gigabit Ethernet Controller. Another interesting part is the operating system, users can choose to install Ubuntu, RHEL Linux, Windows 7 Pro or Windows 10 Pro. ThinkStation P320 plans to be listed in late April, there is currently no specific on pricing are announced.
