Week after week, the Lineage OS team reinforces its alternative operating system based on Android. As a reminder, this project is a CyanogenMod fire fork  , and facilities are well under way with more 150,000 downloads in the space of a week (for a total of 650,000 ).

First in line with the MWC in Barcelona is the new terminal support with two optical sensors at the rear. At the same time, the developers specify that the work needed to maintain the CyanogenMod File Manager (CMFM) file manager is ”  considerable  “. After studying the issue, the team thinks it’s time to change it and switch to the AOSP Android manager, with some improvements at the same time.

As always, other small changes are part of the game, especially with the integration of the February security bulletins of Android. The detailed release notes can be found  here .
